Position: Club/Lounge Manager

Starting wage: wage is dependent on experience.

The labour committee will short list applicants on June 15^th, 2023

Wage includes season and off-season hours, and includes hours worked for events such as bonspiels and facility rentals.

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Lacombe Curling Club.

Experience in the operations of a curling club is an asset. Knowledge of quick books, account receivable, account payable, payroll with an understanding of employment standards, word, excel, website operation and a variety of social media platforms is preferred.  

Duties include but not limited to:

• Hiring, training and supervising bartenders, janitorial and bookkeeping staff.
• Ordering various supplies and maintain inventory control standards
• Familiar with AGLC regulations
• Organize annual registrations and administration
• Invoice and follow up on payment of all sponsored advertising
• Advertise curling events on the Curling Club Web site, Social Media and the Alberta Curling website.
• Negotiate and execute rental agreements
